Spray Booth Upgrade
Access to the booth is via a dead zone, which has plastic strip curtains at its entrance, and then through the smaller of the two conventional doors. The larger door is used solely for taking materials into the booth. The doors open outwards into the dead zone area. The booth operates a slight negative pressure when he extraction is switched on. Air is fed into the booth via a roof mounted axial fan and passed through a roof mounted filter. Air is extracted at floor level through four filtered hoods, the extracted air is then ducted outside to atmosphere. The booth is fitted with three viewing panels, and has an intrinsically safe sounder strobe unit, complete with power supply unit and zener barrier, to ensure awareness should there be a fire alarm activation.
